R U Ready?

It’s time to plan for the upcoming Marvels Cheerleading season!
There are exciting changes for the 2010/2011 season.

Team practice twice a week with an additional third day of tumbling!

What else is new?
We are getting new uniforms – YEAH!
No bellies showing, great new custom design, shorts instead of skirts

Our booster group will be fully non-profit – WooWho!
Your kids work together as a team on the cheer floor, so now it is time for the parents to form a team to work together to raise the money for all the kids, no out of pocket costs (exception: monthly tuition), set number of fundraisers per month, set number of mandatory fundraisers per season, angel fund, great opportunities for all

The team will be going on a retreat in late August – Hooray!!
Team bonding and trust activities, focused time to learn the competition routine and drill skills, free time for the team to just have fun outside of practice.

Join us on Monday May 10th at 8pm for all the details!!

Battle Notes

What a great weekend! A HUGE thank you to the parents who provided breakfast and lunch, rides, and hair supplies. You all continue to amaze me with the unfailing support! Thank you Thank you Thank you!!

For only the second year of the program I am very happy for the performance the girls put in this weekend. 14th place, not so bad. With out deductions, we would have place 11th - even better!

We now need to look ahead to our last two competitions WSF nationals and JamNationals. I would really enjoy another national champion banner to add to the others at the gym!

Prices and Parking info:

I would suggest car pulling to the competition each day.

Also I will need a few parents to help to drive girls to the convention center Friday night for team practice, we have 17 girls, Scott and I can fit 3 so we need to find seats for 14 other butts.

To get a practices time for Friday night we had to pay $100, if each family could give me $7 that would cover the $100.

Once again I will get you a packet of info, hopefully for Monday - but maybe Tuesday - like I did for Indy. If you have not been getting text from me please let me know so I can get your correct cell phone number.

I believe there will be a KnockOut's parents meeting some time this week, we will keep you posted.
